LOV NOTES FROM YOUR EDITOR:
It has been a beautiful
spring and it won’t be too long till those hot sticky
days of summer. Take advantage of the great weather and fresh air of the Lake
of the Ozarks. Come join us as we celebrate the wonderful gift of fellowship at
the Missouri Al-Anon Convention, May 17 & 18.
You will be enamored as you
see service work and recovery on the faces of the participants, and enjoy the
great line-up of speakers and workshops. The love and acceptance displayed at
the convention has been a positive part of my recovery, you should try it at
least once. It is your program, and you don’t need an
invitation, make yourself a priority.
Al-Anons from all over the state of Missouri
are coming together for another year of gratitude and peace. To encourage new
people in coming to the Convention there will be two drawings. Each attendee
who brings someone new to the convention and that new person will put their names
in separate “hats” for a drawing for each group of a set of convention CDs.
Hope to see you there. Dave
